NOTE: Each of our products is different due to the uniqueness of natural stone. No two Braniks are the same. In the classic collection, you choose the shape, size and the type of stone, but not the specific item.
Travertine is a porous sedimentary rock formed by the precipitation of calcium carbonate when groundwater flows to the surface. It is formed in limestone areas, near tectonic faults, karst caves and hot springs. The word travertine comes from the Italian word "Travertino" and is associated with the Tivoli district near Rome. An excellent example of the use of travertines (and the longevity of stone) is the Colosseum - almost entirely made of this material. Travertine has been in use since at least the First Dynasty of Egypt in 3200 BC.

The Branik exudes the properties and character of the type of stone from which it was made. It brings its history, natural origin into the space, it is a piece of the history of nature.
Each branik is different due to the uniqueness of natural stone.
You can also serve food on it, because it has been impregnated.

Good Practices:
- do not wash in a dishwasher, wipe with a damp cloth without detergents, and wipe wet stains immediately
- we recommend impregnating Branik once a month
- Acid-containing products (such as citrus, alcohol, coffee, tomato sauce or sodas) may stain the Branik permanently
