Branik is a home decor brand that designs and produces unique stone pieces to elevate everyday moments, making them a distinguishing element in any interior. By distilling the noble characteristics of precious materials (such as marble, travertine, quartzite and more) and translating them into enjoyable shapes we aim to give everyday delights. The stones come from all over the world but they are carefully selected and carved in our Warsaw atelier.
Branik trays have been featured in publications such as Vogue Poland, House & Garden UK and The Hamptons Magazine. They are a part of The Maybourne Beverly Hills decor.
About Branik
Branik Delight is a family owned Brand, founded in 2020 by Agata Knorowska, well renowned Polish interior architect and Warsaw Academy of Arts graduate. Branik specializes in interior decor items (trays, candleholders, small bowls) made out of various types of carefully selected, precious pieces of marble, onyx, travertine and quartzite. The stones themselves come from all over the world (Italy, Spain, Brazil, Portugal, Iran and Pakistan), but Braniks are designed and made in the Branik Warsaw atelier. They are cut with a waterjet machine in a family owned workshop and then polished by hand at the studio. Branik's designers carefully choose the stones and decide about each of them - if it should be mat or glossy and which shapes are best for each stone. They often use small pieces of beautiful stones left from the bigger projects from various stone companies. They would otherwise go to waste, Braniks buys them and try to make the best of them. Sometimes they come across beautiful stones which used to serve as countertops of antique cabinets, these are often stones with a story behind them.
Branik name
Branik is the surname of my great-grandmother, Zofia Branik. She was born at the turn of the 20th century in Odessa, where she spent the first dozen or so years of her life, absorbing the influence of many cultures, diverse, rich architecture and Mediterranean customs. Before the revolution, Zofia and her parents, Ewa and Jan Branik, returned to Poland. The further fate of the family is sad and complicated, like many European biographies. However, Zofia Branik, despite many hardships and tragedies, did not lose the joy of life. She liked to please herself with small things and they made her every day more pleasant. When the family lost all their property, memories and small elements remained: a cup, a spoon, a piece of tablecloth. Grandma made sure that the space around her, even if very modest, was pleasant, that there was at least one flower in a vase, and that a candle was lit in the evening. She was delighted with the pleasant weather, flowering bushes in the park, one small biscuit. Her story and her attitude inspired me to create the Branik Delight brand of interior accessories.
